Not bad i think! I buy alot of items off ebay not all exspensive mostly crafting items i get the nectar points better than nothing and your getting them for nothing so the way i see it its a little bonus.

Sainsburys is one of the most expensive shops on the high street and BP is the most expensive petrol on the market. How mush would you have saved if you did your shop at Tesco and filled your car up while you where there.?
A LOT more because i have tried it. I have been collecting mail points since it started. It has taken me some time to connect to nectar. It now seems i have lost a large amount of point since the change over. Can you please tell me why. I buy things off ebay anyway. If I fill up my Ibiza that generally a free gallon of fuel, even more if I fill up my old Discovery which has an 89 litre tank. I discovered the American Express Nectar card while I was searching for a more loyalty driven credit card.
Amazingly the Amex Nectar card gives you points wherever you buy, so I can shop in every supermarket and still get points or double points. Obviously with Amex the trick is to pay of transactions straight away to avoid charges.
It works really well for me just for doing my usual routine. Another way to earn points is shopping at certain retailers via the Nectar website - see the full list of participating retailers here. Lastly, log in to the Nectar app every Friday and there will be offers loaded with stuff you actually want to buy, such as your favourite buys, which will earn you points boosts. Nectar points can only be spent in Sainsbury's stores, simply hand them to the cashier or scan them at the self-service tills before you pay.
They can't be spent online, in Sainsbury's Locals, petrol stations, or in any of the 'Argos at Sainsbury's locations. Seasonal goods - Christmas Decorations etc. Taste the Difference wines, champagne, sparkling wine, sherry, and port. Tu Clothing - Including accessories, footwear, and fancy dress. But don't panic, to keep them active even after 12 months and they have gone inactive you simply need to shop in any Nectar card participating store, swipe your card, and your points will be added and your old points will be active again within 24 hours.
Not all stores have outlets, but here is a list of the ones that…. However, this is only worth doing if you clear your balance in full each month. Otherwise, the interest you pay will be far more than the value of the Nectar points you collect.

I am a big fan of loyalty cards and pretty much collect them! I am not loyal to anyone shop and collect the points and rewards from all over the place. You can also get more when you take advantage of things like Nectar Double Up. On top of the general collecting of points, there are some ways to boost the number of points you collect.
